Givenchy Prisme Libre Blush in Popeline Violine - A Uniquely Chic Blush!

 There are a few original features of this blush that truly make it stand out for me. Let’s start with the packaging!! It is so uniquely chic!! There is a cotton powder applicator included and the blush itself is divided into 4 different compartments which house different light to dark shades, so technically, the possibility of shading and color combinations is quite varied!!  I was pleasantly surprised by this feature because it was so original!! The second unique feature was the build-ability!!  All 4 colors come together on the applicator to create one color! I have been using this blush regularly now for about 3 weeks during the summer. I usually don’t wear blush during the summer but this product makes it easy! The amount of product that is dispensed at a time allows you to control how deep you want the color of your blush to be. It was easy for me to go light with my blush during the day and heavier in color at night.  I loved this feature, especially since my skin is darker. Lastly, I loved it’s staying power. What I applied in the morning was still present well into the evening without reapplication on both cheeks! I truly enjoyed trying out the Givenchy Prisme Libre Blush in the color Popeline Violine.  This is now my summer go to blush and I would definitely buy it again!!

Great Lip Products for the Pout!!

@Influenster  @MarcBeauty #LeMarc Liquid Lip Crème  #contest
I received the Marc Jacobs Longwear Lip Pencil in Nude(ist) and Le Marc Liquid Lip Creme in Hot Cocoa complimentary from Influenster! I was so excited and these products did not disappoint! Don't go yet..keep reading for my review of the products that I received.

 Le Marc Liquid Lip Creme in Hot Cocoa

I am new to wearing nude colors on my lips and to liquid lipsticks, so the lip creme was a completely new product for me.  After a few uses, I grew to love the natural coloring that appeared on my lips and wore it to school regularly.  It was a fitting color for a school environment and the daytime. My favorite aspect of this product was the way in which it filled in the fine lines on my lips and plumped my lips right up. My lips felt hydrated and nourished without feeling clammy, gummy or pasty even though it went on smooth and creamy.  A little goes along way.  There was transfer of the product when it was touched, but that is normal for a liquid product I feel. I was actually surprised at how much product remained even at times when there was transfer. My lips still looked as if I had just applied the product even after 2 or 3 hours.  With no parabens, sulfates and Phthatates, but plenty of collagen and Brazilian cupuacu, this lip creme lasts, is good fro your lips and makes them look very kissable.  I loved it!

Marc Jacobs Longwear Lip Pencil in Nude(ist)

I knew that the Marc Jacobs Longwear Lip Pencil was a great product from the moment that I began to apply it! It glided over the outline of my lips with ease so smoothly and effortlessly that I was surprised to find I was done outlining so quickly. The gel formula really makes a difference in how easy it is to apply. I have always struggled with traditional lip liners pulling and tugging at the lip skin and making the process of lining much longer to do, but not this product. I tried out the nude (ist) lip pencil color, which complimented my liquid lip crème (Hot Cocoa) perfectly.  I was amazed at how defined and fuller my lips looked as soon as I was done outlining. I will definitely be purchasing this product again in the future.  And can I say how could one pass up the sleek silver packaging of this Lip Pencil!

Food I Am Loving These days

Just Like The Homemade Stuff

So I sat down to finally have my Bon Appetit Pepperoni & Pesto pizza, which I was really waiting impatiently to do. I love pizza and have always been fond of frozen pizza, but I have become picky over the years about the brands that I buy and like.  To my delight this pizza was full of wonderful surprises.

I though for a moment that it was going to be too big when I placed it into the toaster oven, but it actually fit in just fine and cooked to the perfect sized individual pan pizza.  I was also expecting one ingredient, like the pepperoni or the pesto to overwhelm the other ingredients, but I was amazed at how well all of the flavors and ingredients complimented each other and blended so well together.  There was a spicy-peppery undertone to each bite as I chewed, which surprised me as well, and all of the ingredients tasted so fresh. Halfway through my culinary experience, I was actually glad that I was alone in the house and that I didn’t have to share. Is that bad of me?  Oh well!  This was totally filling for one person mostly due to the thin crust and would be a nice shared snack for two people.  The crust baked to a soft consistency in the middle and a crunchy consistency on the edges.

I ate the whole thing in one sitting. Was that greedy of me? If so, I couldn’t help myself.  This is by far my new favorite of the frozen pizza brands and I will be stocking up on the Pepperoni & Pesto flavor in particular. It was good to the last bite!  I do want to try the Trio Bacon and Mozzarella & Pesto flavors as well.

In the Mood for a Non-Dairy Yogurt?
Silk Dairy Free Strawberry Yogurt Alternative
I think that the Silk Dairy-Free Strawberry Yogurt Alternative is a surprisingly delicious treat.  I was skeptical about the taste of a soy based yogurt product, but now I am so thankful that I took the risk.   This is delicious! it has a creamy, pudding like texture and is bursting with strawberry flavor in every bite.  This combination keeps you craving and anticipating the next bite!  I was also surprised at how it filled me up.  Many yogurts don't fill me up but actually are a nice snack or treat that I use to hold me until I have a real meal.  After my first try, this one filled me up enough, that I have been having one daily for lunch topped with granola as my  light summer lunch option.  I am noticing that these are popular at my local Stop and Shop supermarket, and certain flavors tend to disappear fast.  I am still on the hunt for the vanilla and Tropical Pineapple flavors for example, but I know from experience that it will be well worth the wait. Silk soy yogurts are now a permanent part of my grocery list.
